About Taxi Skåne
We want to restore the concept of a taxi. Not that we're old fashioned, but for you as a customer to know what you get when you take a taxi. For us, a taxi service is high quality of local knowledge, vehicles and drivers with high security and safety . All our drivers have passed our in-house training and education. The company is well organized both in cars and accounting. You will recognize our drivers by their uniform clothing with our logo on the outermost garment. We strive to always provide friendly service and reasonable prices but not so low that we can not pay our taxes and fees. All cars are of course non-smoking.
We have about 160 cars in Lund, Malmö, Lomma, Staffanstorp, Burlö, Svedala, Vellinge, Kävlinge and Eslöv municipalities and at Sturup and Kastrup airport with drivers who are always ready to do their best for you, our customer.
We are constantly working with product development to make what we are good at even better. Better for you, when you choose Taxi Skåne.
Booking and dispatch center
The Booking center can be described as the heart of our operation, our switchboard staff handle Taxi Skåne customers during all hours of the day. We have fifteen full-time employees and a similar number of additional employees who work with us and we handle about two thousand calls per day. Our main task is to receive customer orders and ensure that our drivers in the cars get the information required to best meet customer requirements.
In the dispatching center we work with a fully computerized traffic management system (Holmedal) which is linked to an internal GPS in the cars. This allows the customer departure adress and time of departure to be automatically sent out to the car that is closest to the location. By extension, this means that we can deliver a high quality product to the customer with a minimal run-up distance in all modes, which saves both time and environmental impact.
